Philodendron ‘Black Cardinal’ (Variegated) is a sport mutation of the popular Black Cardinal hybrid, and one that collectors actively seek out. New leaves emerge in a striking copper-red that matures to deep burgundy-black — and on the variegated form, patches and streaks of creamy white or pale yellow break through, creating a bold contrast against the dark foliage. A compact, self-heading philodendron that doesn’t require a support structure.
