About the Event

The world’s oldest and largest indoor flower show returns to the Pennsylvania Convention Center for its 198th edition. Drawing over 250,000 visitors annually, the PHS Philadelphia Flower Show features large-scale garden installations, the Hamilton Horticourt display of hundreds of uniquely tended competitive plants, and a thriving Garden Marketplace where vendors sell rare plants, seeds, pottery, and botanical goods. Members’ Preview Day is March 12; general public hours run March 13 through March 21. Marketplace vendor applications open through the Pennsylvania Horticultural Society.

First time attending?

Bring cash — not every vendor takes card. Arrive early on Saturday for first pick of the rarest plants. The Sunday crowd is lighter and some vendors discount remaining stock toward closing.

What does Pre-Order mean?

Pre-Order status means a plant isn't quite ready to ship yet — but you can secure yours now before it sells out. There are typically two reasons you'll see it:

  • We're building the import order. We haven't placed the import yet and are gauging interest before we pull the trigger. Pre-ordering helps us hit the minimum and often unlocks better pricing and rarer selections for everyone.
  • The plants are here, but they're settling in. Freshly imported plants go through an acclimation period — we let them rest, rehydrate, and stabilize before they ship. Rushing that process isn't something we're willing to do.

Either way, your order is locked in at today's price, and you'll be among the first notified when your plant is ready to go. Always check the individual product description for estimated timelines specific to that listing.
