The story

One plant.
Then another.
Then a wall.

Mason's Jungle started the way most obsessions do — quietly. A single Monstera on a windowsill. Then a second plant. Then a grow light. Then a second grow light. Now it's an entire wall of aroids, variegated specimens, and collector plants that people stop and stare at when they walk in the door.

Behind the Jungle

The people (and animals)
who make it happen.

Mason's Jungle is a fully family operation. That means a two-person team, a shared plant obsession, and a rotating cast of four-legged and feathered supervisors who take their responsibilities very seriously.

Founder & Head Grower

Mason Miller

The person responsible for all of this. Mason started the collection in 2023 with a single Monstera and a mild plant problem that rapidly became a serious one. He sources, grows, propagates, photographs, packs, ships, and generally loses sleep over the collection. Every plant that leaves this house has been in his hands first.

Co-Founder & Enabler

Gianna Ross

Gianna is the creative partner and voice of reason behind Mason's Jungle. She shapes the ideas, keeps Mason honest, and makes sure the plants actually get watered. The collection runs better with her in it — and she'd be too modest to say so herself.

The rest of the crew.

Quality control is taken very seriously at Mason's Jungle HQ. Our team of four dogs and one bird maintain a daily presence in the grow space and have strong opinions about everything.

How it started

From a single plant to a
living jungle.

It started with a Monstera deliciosa from a local garden centre — the kind of plant everyone has. But something happened when that first new leaf unfurled. The scale of it. The drama. The way it changed the entire feeling of the room.

One Monstera became two. Then a Philodendron. Then the first variegated plant — an Albo cutting that cost more than it should have and was worth every cent. Within a year, the living room had been quietly taken over.

Mason's Jungle isn't a commercial nursery or a greenhouse operation. It's a home collection in Philadelphia that grew beyond what one person could possibly keep — and the solution was to share it. Every plant that leaves here has been grown, observed, and cared for in a real home environment. No shortcuts, no stock photos, no plants that we haven't personally had our hands in the soil of.

If you buy from us, you're getting a plant from the jungle you see in the photos. That's the whole thing.
